Hey! I'm Britt.
I was born in Auckland and moved to Christchurch with my family in 2005 (yes, I support the red and black!) I studied ECE and worked as an educator for 8 years. I dig all things babies and kids. I met my husband (on Tinder!) in 2015. He's the best! Cooks, likes adventures and gelato and looks after me like no other. We married in 2017 and our son, Rudy was born in October 2019.
My obsession for weddings started slowly as we planned our own wedding and escalated as my close friends needed help planning their nuptials. I knew I needed to be a part of this industry and felt I had a lot to offer couples looking for a fun celebrant to officiate their wedding! I am super passionate about te ao Maori and learning the language, culture and tikanga.
If you are looking to incorporate some Maori tikanga or reo into your ceremony, I'm your gal! I'll even pronounce your name right! (IYKYK) In saying that, I love all cultures and learning about how you do things differently in your whānau - after all, our differences are what makes the world go 'round, right?!
I love being outdoors, crafts, being active and FAMILY. Lots and lots of family time. I also love meeting new people and getting to know what makes them unique.
